Evaluation

A licensed Occupational Therapist and an Evalusafe Inspector come to your home and do a thorough Evaluation with you, of your home and your daily activities. We ask that your spouse, son, daughter, caregiver, or whomever is concerned about your safety and well being, be there as well. Once complete, we give you a report outlining in detail the things we found to be critical, important or we just recommend be done to make your home safer.

Eval-u-Safe™ has partnered with Spalding University’s Auerbach School of Occupational Therapy to develop this comprehensive Evaluation. The OT’s goal is to help you have an independent, productive, and satisfying life. The OT’s expertise is to assess you in your surroundings and take into consideration all your daily activities and abilities.

The Eval-U-Safe Inspection® was compiled from researching Government, University and Healthcare findings on the most common causes of home injuries, ages 65+. The findings of this inspection are prioritized by the Occupational Therapist, based on the risks specific to you in your home.

These two components result in a blueprint to make your home safer. Many suggestions are simple and you can do yourself, but if you need help, we have a full line of Products and a Handyman Service to assist. Most important is that you use The Eval-U-Safe Blueprint© to make your home a more safe and comfortable place to live.
